SYNOPSIS
The Microsoft Certified
Application Specialist (MCAS)
certification is the first
certification in the brand new
line of Microsoft Business
certifications, targeted toward
working IT and Non-IT
professionals. It is available now
at all Pearson Vue testing
locations and is not available
through Prometric.
In order to attain the MCAS
certification, you must pass one
of six exams on Microsoft Office
technology applications, including
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and
Access, as well as several other
programs. No prior experience is
necessary in order to take the
exam and there are no
prerequisites.
