SYNOPSIS
The Microsoft Certified
Professional Developer: Windows
Developer (MCPD: Windows
Developer) certification
demonstrates that you have the
comprehensive skills that are
required to build rich client
applications that target the
Windows Forms platform using the
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.
MCPD: Windows Developer
candidates must first complete the
requirements for the MCTS: .NET
Framework 2.0 Windows Applications
certification (two exams). After
they achieve this certification,
candidatescan earn their MCPD:
Windows Developer by passing one
additional exam.
If you are a Microsoft
Certified Application Developer (MCAD),
you can upgrade to the MCPD:
Windows Developer certification by
taking one upgrade exam. You do
not need to obtain the MCTS
prerequisite credential if you
take the upgrade exam.
